PORTFOLIO

WOOLLEN ESCAPES

An interior collection exploring the concept of escapism within woodland environments and the idea that heavily knitted products can offer a sense of relaxation and escapism. This is explored through cabling and textural knitting techniques to replicate woodland structures.

URBAN OASIS

A live collaborative project with the company Epson, working to a live brief in order to design a coordinated collection of interior fabrics suitable for an open plan living room within a show home. This collection focusses on the connection between natural and urban environments, looking at a mixture of textures whilst following a desired colour palette.

EXTREME KNITTING

A project to design a practice based workshop which explored new and creative ways of teaching young adults how to knit. Arm knitting enables anyone to understand the technique through large scale knitting.

CONSTRUCTED TEXTILES

The purpose of this project was to explore different technical processes and combine them to create textural designs. A mixture of knitting and embroidery techniques have been used to test out how the processes work together.

WINTER WARMERS

A fashion collection, creating designs for winter accessories including hats scarfs and gloves. These designs were created by using the fair-isle knitting technique using punch cards uniquely designed for this brief. This collection was inspired by the company Muji.
